Picture it. Summer camping under the stars, a warm breeze blowing across your face, the soft, melodic, soothing buzz of mosquitoes — say what? That’s right, thanks to the Outdoor Research Bug Bivy now you can sleep outside, under the open sky, and your only thought of bugs will be how lovely they sound as you drift off to never-never land. This ultra-light, no-see-um mesh bivy has a Hydroseal-200 coated taffeta floor to protect you from ground moisture and rocky debris. Meanwhile the mesh will, need we say it, protect you from debris of the airborne, buzzing, pernicious ilk. The OR Bug Bivy features a shock-corded Delrin pole that conveniently holds the mesh off of your face so you can saw logs unobstructed all night long. Patented sleeping-pad straps fix the bivy to your pad so you don’t spend the night slip-sliding away, and a small internal mesh pocket conveniently holds those little items you need near at hand. One end-opening zipper seals the deal.
Sleep soundly to a symphony of nasty gnats, buzzing blackflies, and melodic mosquitoes. (DWGBSMA)
